What time do we arrive on our first day?
Unless otherwise discussed, you can arrive at the Check-in Office anytime after 10am.
Please be respectful of other clientele who may be checking out at that the same time.
Is there food at the ranch?
No. Closest grocery store is an hour away. So make sure you have all food and supplies you'll need during your stay.
Weekend Minimum
Weekends are considered Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We charge a MINIMUM of $5,000 to book a weekend date. We book out MONTHS in advance and weekends are our most sought after times.
What do I need to bring with me on the hunt?
- Sleeping bag
- Pillow
- Toiletries, towel.
- Food to eat while you are here, paper-ware for easy clean up.
- Drinks
- Coolers to carry your meat home, ice.
- Weapon of choice, ammo.
- Firewood for campfire (No Fires During Fire Season)
- Paper targets for sighting in guns
- Game bags, or sheets, trash bags for taxidermy, zip-lock bags for heart and liver only if you want them.
What is a common tip?
Gratuities are greatly appreciated and range from 15%-20% of your total hunt.
Is there adventures all year round?
Yes 365 day/year.
How large is the hunting area?
Local property and leases are just under 20,000 acres.
For Oregon Big Game, we have permits for the majority of Central and Eastern Oregon.
How long do the hunts last?
Depending on the group size and animals, We do simple 1-2 animal hunts in just a day hunt.
Do you take Credit Cards?
Yes!
Do you require a deposit?
50% of your hunt is paid up front and the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival at the ranch.
Do you allow Bow/Archery Equipment?
YES we do. Call for details.
Do you need to purchase a hunting license?
NO HUNTING LICENSE OR TAG REQUIRED FOR EXOTIC STOCK HARVESTS.
OREGON GAME DO REQUIRE LICENSE AND TAG FROM STATE.
What are the typical shooting distances?
100-150yards
How long do the hunts last?
The reserve hunts generally are 1, 2 or 3 day hunts. They can be longer for larger groups.
Oregon Big Game Hunts are 6 days and 6 nights.
How many people do you have room for?
We have cabins with a total number of 13 beds. However, we have had as many as 100 people in camp.
Can I bring my dog or pets?
We do not allow pets in or at the Camp or on the hunts. There will be a fine if you bring one and your hunt will be canceled.
How do I get there?
From Highway 97 - Turn east onto Pony Butte Rd. (between mile markers 78 & 79), follow for 20 miles to the Ranch. (Four Aces signs along the way).

What is the best way to transport my meat?
For larger animals (350lbs. and up) typically using a tarp with bags of ice is the best way to preserve your harvest.
For smaller animals (under 300lbs.) we recommend 100 qt. coolers.
Gift Certificates
If you received a gift certificate for our ranch, please call or email us ASAP to get your hunt on the books. We do book out 3-6 months in advance and if you wait too long to contact us we cannot guarantee we will have availability before your gift certificate expires. They are only good for a year.
